Frequently Asked Questions
| Q. | When renewing my subscription online I am asked to enter my username and Password - what is it? |
| A. | As of May 2006, F-Secure has changed the provider for our e-Store. The
new provider is Asknet. The password only required for customers returning
to purchase through AskNet and not for customers returning to purchase
F-Secure Products. In order to renew, please click on new customer - you will still receive renewal prices for our products and after completion of the sale Asknet will provide you with a username and password which can be used the next time you purchase from AskNet. |
| Q. | Why do F-Secure no longer support Windows 98? |
| A. | F-Secure Internet Security 2007 is not available to users of the
Microsoft Windows 98 operating system. This is due to Microsoft’s
decision to no longer support this platform as of June 2006. If you are still running Windows 98, you may carry on using our 2006 products which will continue to support the Windows 98 platform—simply purchase a renewal to the product but instead of downloading the new product, just enter your subscription code in the ‘My Subscription’ section of your 2006 solution. |
| Q. | Which operating systems do the products support? |
| A. | F-Secure Internet Security 2007 currently supports Windows 2000 and XP. Windows Vista 32-bit support will be avilable soon. F-Secure Anti-Virus 2007 currently supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista 32-bit versions. Both of these products do not support the server versions of the above operating systems. |
